When you visit the dentist regularly, it tells you if you need any treatment to correct your teeth and sends you to go to an orthodontist.

Orthodontics specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial abnormalities. Treatment involves control of corrective appliances, such as brakes to straighten teeth, lips and jaws. The specialist diagnosed Why should you use for your teeth.

Brakes correct the alignment of your teeth by applying continuous pressure on them, which eventually moved to a better position. A retainer also applies pressure to your teeth, and can be used to hold your teeth in a final position.

The time you have braces is determined depending on each person, there is no stipulated time. But most people wear braces for 1 to 3 years. It is important that you always check your teeth with the dentist, as the orthodontist only works with devices and does not review dental caries or cleaning.

In the case of witnessing this accident, there are some things we know to act with certainty and not cause further injury. This will also keep your teeth and then to re-implant or restored.

The main thing is to act with calm.

If you’ve beaten the mouth, you have probably bleeding.

So you have to locate the place from where the bleeding and if we find that the tooth has fallen, closing the gap with gauze and bite it with the other teeth.

Do not perform or attempt to swish close the gap with a foreign object.

If you find the tooth, place it in saline or milk and do not wash it or touch the root. Its reintroduction is usually performed successfully.
If you can not locate the tooth, do not worry too much. Currently, there are advanced techniques that let you play the missing tooth to perfection when it comes to size, shape, color and function.

Then go to the dentist or the nearest medical center. See earlier if they have guards to dental emergencies.

If the tooth is broken, but you feel pain or has gotten into the gum, do not let time go to a dental center immediately.

Note. To achieve a greater chance to perform the reimplantation, the same should be done within 4 hours of the coup occurred.

Although the coup had resulted in a baby tooth, do not be trivialized, but these teeth are changed to growing the final blow may have damaged the permanent tooth is in full training.

The prostheses are structures or devices that aesthetically and functionally replace the missing natural teeth in the mouth.

There are many types and shapes of dental prostheses.

Can be classified into two main groups:

1. Removable dentures

2. Fixed prosthodontics. Within these deserve a special section Implants.

Removable Prosthesis

Are those that can get in and out, ie not bound to oral structures, but simply anchored in them.

Some are acrylic-plastic pink-This type is used when there are few teeth in the mouth or there is none (complete denture) and also, when the teeth are not in good condition to handle the load of a prosthetic heavier.

Are attached by adhesion to the gum, so that the tissue-call.

The other type of removable prosthesis is formed by those that support the teeth and, sometimes, also on the gums. Are mucodentosoportadas.

They are made with a metal frame that rests on the gum and hooks to anchor in the teeth.

They are less bulky than the tissue-and therefore something more comfortable, but they need to have a sufficient number of teeth and that they have acceptable conditions and are strong enough.

Must be all that common characteristics are described below:

1. Stability. Is the property must have the prosthesis to slide or swing not in your mouth.

2. Retention. It is the anchor for the prosthesis should not detach. Achieved with hooks or clasps.

3. Support. It refers to the base should be enough not to sink or dig into the gum.

If any of these properties fails, the prosthesis is maladjusted and can cause wounds, sores or inflamed gums and continuous discomfort in chewing.

These prostheses have a lifetime that will be more or less long depending on their care and the characteristics of people who wear it.

The gum drop over time, and excessive weight loss after a person or when removed several pieces.

In these cases, the prosthesis will be maladjusted and to modify it properly.

These prostheses need each day for maintenance care. They should be removed after each meal and proceed to clean them thoroughly, using water and a special brush that can be found on the market and to facilitate their cleaning.

Should also leave a few hours immersed in a liquid antiseptic-Steradent pills, for example-to ensure proper sanitation and complete disinfection.

These prostheses are very porous and easily retain food debris and large number of germs that cause inflammation of mucous membranes in mouth and gums, so it is necessary to keep them very clean and sanitized.

It may or may not keep them in the mouth during the night, but to rest the gum, it would be prudent to remove them and deposit them in a clean place.

All amalgam fillings must be removed. First is the removal of all amalgam fillings. One should also think of hidden panels, for example, under crowns. Before treatment should definitely be resolved with the insurance company to cover it. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not perform amalgam restoration.

Selenium binds mercury. Before and after the liberated mercury amalgam restoration should be inactivated by selenium. Selenium and mercury combine to form a complex that has no effect in the body.

Zinksubstitution and antioxidants to supplement the therapy. Low zinc levels are detected, so zinc should be supplied. To limit the damaging effects of free radicals, antioxidants should be given. Are most suitable vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin D.

DMPS excretion is controversial. A draining therapy with DMPS (sodium dimercaptopropanesulphonic acid), as recommended for chronic poisoning with mercury and lead, has been controversial for an amalgam restoration.

Prevention
Dental hygiene from early childhood to prevent tooth decay. To avoid illness, if possible, everyone can do something. In particular, a correct and comprehensive dental and oral hygiene from an early age reduces the incidence of caries. Furthermore kariesauslösende foods should be avoided.

Teeth must be cleaned frequently and properly.

Brush your teeth is the best Vorstorge
Other measures are:

Brushing teeth after every meal.

Seal all teeth (except the incisors) at the age of 6, 12 and 18 years of varnish can.

Balanced nutrition

Prevention with fluorine, for example, in toothpaste

When defects do not use amalgam fillings, but composite fillings, gold or ceramic inlays.

Chew Who has amalgam fillings: Not chewing gum, and avoid hot and sour dishes.

Another good reason to say yes to early treatment in orthodontics is that the child will reap the benefits at many levels.

• simplify and shorten or avoid the more complex treatment in adolescence;

• preserve capital dental (extractions of teeth, premolars and wisdom teeth, amputated up to a quarter of Heritage Dental, eight teeth);

• avoid the painful transition from surgery as an adult in case of atrophy of the jaws (action required when a missed period of growth, eg in cases of prognathism);

• intervene in children by an appliance or simple techniques, much less stringent than the rings at a time when he is receptive, and avoid disrupting the teenager who already suffers from many difficulties without it being necessary ‘add more;

• avoid many side effects caused by rings, either on the teeth (cavities, heaving, root resorption) or on the body;

• avoid wearing a splint to life for early treatment undertaken in temporary teeth are stable (as opposed to late treatment reoffend);

• improve posture by correcting the position of the tongue;

• improve the general health, including addressing the problem of mouth breathing so harmful in terms of vitality and aesthetics;

• improve growth and body schema by removing the bolts associated with poor occlusion;

• obtain a smooth face (not just a dental alignment) with the proper development of databases that are the bony skeleton of the face;

• prevent sleep apnea, potentially fatal disease is not inevitable.

Say yes to early orthodontic treatment is common sense.

Hopefully attitudes are changing and that the practice is spreading to the greater good of our children.

Say yes to early treatment in orthodontics means to recognize as early as possible in children early signs of malocclusion.

Causes structural or mechanical

A tooth in overbite (slightly too high) is responsible for an occlusal overload which causes the compression of the long ligament (fibro-elastic zone that connects the tooth to the bones and absorbs the stresses of mastication). Eventually, the stasis pressure generates energy which can result in the appearance of an abscess of the root (granuloma) on a devitalized tooth.

A dental bite imbalance must be considered a major bottleneck effects which affect the entire posture, through the temporomandibular joint is an important energy hub, with multiple consequences (osteoarticular, back pain, compression of organs, depressive syndrome).

A bridge blocks the micro-movement of natural teeth in their sockets. It generates a dominant transverse compression which sometimes double vertical overload if the bridge is in overbite. Placed on areas of junction of these bones (palatine suture), the bridge leads to a blockage of the cranial bones. An orthodontic arch has the same effect generalized to all teeth of the maxilla.

Causes chemical

A chemical barrier is induced by the use of a product filling with components that are irritating, harmful or poorly tolerated by the body. Pasta fillings placed in root after root canal treatment in this regard are particularly harmful when they contain (which is common) derivatives formalin (formaldehyde), anti-inflammatory steroids or antibiotics.

This type of chemical barrier has an impact even greater than it is acting within the bone structure. In case of excess dough (not uncommon), chemical irritation is accompanied by a compression effect on the nerve endings of the trigeminal nerve, nerve highly reflexogenic.

We obtain in this case a real thorn irrigative reactions responsible reflexes remote jamming the trigeminal system. The issue of nerve signals parasitic operation of the trigeminal nerve, which explains the nature reflexogenic reactions remotely generated by this type of dam. This form of energy barrier is particularly insidious because the patient uninformed knows nothing about the nature and composition of pulp introduced in the roots of devitalized teeth. Effective prevention is to ascertain the composition of the paste used by the dentist and ask for pasta with natural ingredients, as explained in the Predicament ** in the category toxicity.

Causes electrochemical

All metal inserted in the mouth acts to varying degrees as a disruptive electrochemical. It is linked to the property than any metal, including titanium deemed neutral to corrode on contact with saliva in the presence of metals of different natures. In this regard, nickel or beryllium, much used in dentistry is particularly responsive.

These results in the production of micro-electrical currents called stack effect electro galvanic mouth. They are disrupting human biomagnetism.

These stray electric currents cause distortion of the energy field, as the case involving a power surge or otherwise a vacuum energy. The problem is even more important in the case of titanium implants are much like acupuncture needles implanted permanently in the bone itself electrically conductive.

As before, this type of dam is particularly insidious and unrecognized by the official dentistry (such as electric currents can be measured easily with simple electrical equipment). Further information on these dams and electrical means to treat and prevent the Pratikadent ** in the category Electro-galvanism.

Do not forget that the metal orthodontic equipment (rings and clips) is also generating oral galvanism, especially when rings and ties have undergone a chemical recycling to enable reuse in several consecutive patients.

Dental implants instead of dentures tooth decay, teeth nice and neat, have nice teeth and bright.

What exactly is a dental implant? What are the different steps of the installation? My surgeon can perform this procedure in his office? Are there any cons-indications? Ten responses around the dental implant.

A dental implant can replace one or more teeth and to return to ‘real teeth’. Note, however, the term dental implant does not mean the new tooth in its entirety. The dental implant is a titanium screw is placed in the jawbone and which can accommodate a crown, a bridge or a denture. The new tooth is then constituted an artificial root, dental implant and a crown (or bridge or dentures).

2. We can put a crown, a bridge or a denture without using an implant. The visible part of the new tooth is then supported on the adjacent teeth, the root or stored on a pivot.

3. Where possible, the implant is the best solution because it allows a fixed prosthesis, comfortable, aesthetic and preserves the bone in the jaw at the missing tooth.

4. To date, there is no known allergy to titanium.

5. The placement of dental implants is performed most often after tooth extraction and after healing of the bone.

6. Under local anesthesia, the surgeon incised gingivitis and housing landscape in the bone, with small forests, dwelling in which he screwed the implant. The intervention may seem impressive but it is now very well understood by professionals. After 2 to 6 months of healing (set nurse), the gum is opened again to put a prosthesis on the implant.

7. Sometimes, the surgeon may leave the head of the implant than during the healing time to avoid a second opening of the gums when inserting the implant.

8. In some cases, it is possible to put a temporary prosthesis immediately after tightening the implant.

9. Clinic or dental office? The establishment of an implant can be achieved either in a dental office or in an operating room specific. Everything depends on whether the surgeon or not a cabinet adapted to this type of surgical technique, which requires, be noted, surgical sepsis.

10. What are the cons-indications for implant dentistry? Poorly controlled diabetes, transplant, immune deficiencies, and lack of bone, bone diseases, bleeding risk, poor oral hygiene, and cellular heart.

Smoking is not a cons-indication but it delays healing and increases the risk of losing the implant.

At present there is a standard interiorly device, (low cost) that children from 7 to 12 years old, can be used for evil correction the position of the anterior teeth.

Indicated to correct Para-functional habits:

* As the atypical swallowing (tongue interposition between dental arches)
* Lack labial
* On previous bite.
* Sucking thumb.
* Mouth breathers.
* Prevents the harmful effects of bruise in children.

After 3 ½ months of use as indicated previously, the device achieves a 70% correct such bad tooth position.

The average treatment usually lasts between 8 and 12 months.

The device is very useful for treating malocclusion in children during the mixed dentition. It has proven effective and low cost.

Instructions for use:

* The child should place the device in his mouth with the tongue upwards and must feel the tongue with the tip of the tongue. Early Correction Tooth apposition
* You must keep your lips together and breathe through your nose.
* Must feel tries to straighten the front teeth.
* The child should not chew the device.
* Must use 1 hours during the day and while sleeping.

The child should lie to use the device performs its task, while reading, while watching TV, while using the computer or even while playing. When you finish using it, should be rinsed with tap water and save its case accordingly. The anterior teeth would have to become more sensitive in the early stages. If discomfort is excessive, reduce the usage time, then increase it to normal times when the sensitivity screening.

How does the device in the mouth?

* The recast in front of the device provides a function similar to the orthodontic arch.
* The labial bows exert a force on the anterior teeth slightly disheveled.
* The tongue actively reprogram the position of the tongue, like my functional therapies.
* The grid does not allow lingual tongue thrust, forcing the patient to breathe through the nose.
* Lips brakes reduce the activity of the lip muscles.
* Positioning of the mandible
* Fixed the position of the jaw while being used.

Tips for parents.

* You as a parent must stay with the use of warehouses during the night but the device falls tongue thrusting or mouth breathing. These are habits that should be corrected. Once you stay in place all night, you have succeeded.
* The child’s mouth should be closed most of the time, such stress on keeping your lips together when the device is placed. If not, the child must breathe through the nose.
* Remind the child that should keep the tip of the tongue in the same position as when it touches the tongue, when not using the device.
* The minimum period of use is six to twelve months. If you can not use it all night, increase the hours of use during the day. Do not expect to see dental changes in weeks, but should see functional changes in a short time as improvements in nasal breathing, mouth and jaw position, position.
