Oral Care

Research by University College London, shows that people who do not brush your teeth at least twice a day, more likely to suffer from heart disease.
Studies have shown that good oral hygiene habits in six out of ten subjects of study participants and that this is associated with development of heart disease, has also been shown that inflammation of the mouth and gums play an important role in the process of arterial blockage.
Parameters to be studied by a team led by Professor Richard Watt, analyzed the lifestyle, whether they are smokers, if they practiced some physical activity, routine oral health and how often they brushed their teeth.
Underestimate collect information from medical records to find a history of heart disease in patients studied, allowing researchers to determine the degree of inflammation in the body.
The result is that people who rarely brush, has a 70% chance of heart problems. Instead of people having adequate oral hygiene has been reduced to 62%.
This also shows heart disease risk factors such as social class, obesity, smoking and family history of heart disease. If you have a tendency to suffer from a bad heart, it’s time to maintain better oral hygiene, every good business if it comes to maintaining our health.
